I love how drone footage has changed the way we see the world. I am particularly fascinated by aerial shots of the ocean…the undulation of waves, color variations, play of light on the water, and depth of transparency. I’ve included all of those elements in this painting. It’s the view migrating birds and spirits get to enjoy all the time.
